Vocational Rehabilitation
Working with a group of disabled people recently we covered the STAR method to answering interview questions and used a diagram to help members visually learn about the method. This helped them practice their answers with a visual prompt which they found easy to remember and as a consequence the process they needed to go through to give a full answer. We looked at three main areas: communication, problem solving and flexibility. It proves to be a very successful tool in the sessions.
